Up in the mountains! We were working up there on the new house, painting, cleaning up the building materials, etc. Bill started to use his weed-eater on the overgrown brush when he suddenly developed severe chills. I told him to hurry up and get over them as if he didn't in 30 minutes he was going to enjoy a ride to the hospital.
He didn't comply with my order so I took him to the Sylva hospital (the trauma hawk beat us there, though). After taking lots of blood, x-rays, hooking him up to monitors the diagnosis: pneumonia! His first dose of antibiotic was through an IV drip.
The cause? Probably overdoing things due to an overenthusiastic attitude about retirement coupled with a lingering cold. Let's hope!
Tell him to take is easy for once in his life and not to drive back to the house today!!
